TUBA Bangkok: The First-Timer Guide to Getting There, Parking, Zones and Happy Hour

TUBA is easy to love and slightly hard to find — it sits in a soi that two BTS stations both claim, behind a door that gives away nothing about the room behind it. This guide answers the questions first-time guests actually ask us: how to get there, where to park, which zone to sit in, what happy hour costs, and whether your dog can come.

Where is TUBA and how do I get there?

TUBA is at 34 Room 11-12A, Soi Ekkamai 21 (Thonglor 20), Sukhumvit 63 Road, Klongton Nua, Wattana, Bangkok 10110. The soi is also called Soi Jamchan, and it runs between Thonglor and Ekkamai — which is why both stations work.

Is there parking?

Yes. Parking in front of the building is free from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 p.m. the building’s central team runs valet parking at 100 THB per car per night — that fee goes to the building, not to us. The valet staff at the entrance will take it from there.

What time is TUBA open?

Every day, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. That is not a typo — you can have coffee here at ten in the morning and a last cocktail at one the following morning. Live music starts at 8:30 p.m., seven nights a week.

When is happy hour?

Every day, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.:

• Cocktails — buy 1, get 1 free
• Draft beer, all sizes — buy 2, get 1 free

Sunday to Thursday, after 8:00 p.m.:

• Budweiser, all sizes — buy 2, get 1 free
• Thonglor Beer — buy 2, get 1 free
• Regency — 2 bottles for 1,899 THB

Which zone should I sit in?

TUBA is not one room, and picking the right one changes your whole night.

• Dining zone — the main room. Food-first, all ages welcome, and where the 90s DJ plays on Friday and Saturday.
• Live Music zone — the stage room, 20+ only. Jazz on Tuesday and Thursday, live bands the rest of the week, from 8:30 p.m.
• Outdoor zone — the only place you can smoke, and the most comfortable spot if you have brought a dog.

Tell us your preference when you book a table and we will seat you accordingly.

Can I bring my dog?

Small dogs up to 10 kg are welcome. We ask that they stay in a bag or stroller, stay off tables and chairs, and stay gently supervised out of consideration for other guests. If your dog is having an excitable evening, the Outdoor zone is the kinder choice for everyone.

Can I bring children?

Children are welcome in the Dining zone. The Live Music zone is restricted to guests aged 20 and over.

Is there a dress code?

No dress code. Come as you are. One practical note: if you are in sandals, watch your step — glass does occasionally break in a busy bar.

Can I bring my own bottle?

Yes, with corkage:

• Spirits, 700 ml — 500 THB per bottle
• Spirits, 1 litre — 800 THB per bottle
• Wine — 800 THB per bottle

Outside beer is not permitted, but the beer list here is long enough that you will not miss it.

How do I pay?

Cash, credit and debit cards, and mobile banking or QR payment. If you need a tax invoice, tell us during your visit — we cannot issue one retroactively.

A few last things

Free Wi-Fi for all guests — ask any staff member for the password. Smoking is outdoor only. If you have a food allergy, tell your server and the kitchen will adapt where it can.
