Free Board Games in TUBA’s Private Rooms: Which Game for Your Group

Book either of TUBA’s private rooms and you can ask the staff for the board game shelf at no charge. It is not an add-on, a package or an upsell. Tell whoever seats you and the games arrive at the table.
What follows is the part the poster on Instagram could not fit: which game actually works for how many people, and when in the evening to play it. Nothing kills a party faster than opening a ninety-minute game at 20:15, fifteen minutes before the band starts.
What board games does TUBA have?

How many friends are you bringing?
Four to six people
Start with Coup. It is short, it is about reading faces, and it gets better the more rounds you play — which suits a table that is going to sit for three hours anyway. Exploding Kittens is the lighter alternative if half the table has never played a bluffing game.
Six to ten people
UNO is the only game on the shelf that genuinely holds ten people at one table. Open with จระเข้งับมือ while people are still arriving and ordering — it takes ten seconds to explain and it breaks the ice before everyone has a drink in hand.
Ten to twenty-five — the Gallery Room
Do not try to run one game. Split into two or three tables and run UNO on one, Coup on another. The room seats up to 25, and parallel games keep everyone in the party rather than watching six people play.
Twenty-five and up — the Museum Room
Seated, the Museum Room takes 35. For a standing cocktail party it takes 60–80, and at that size board games stop being the evening and become stations. Put จระเข้ and ตกปลา out on side tables and let people drift into them between conversations. Nobody plays a card game standing up with a drink in their hand.
Why a crocodile and a fishing game, in an antique gallery?
Because they are the same nostalgia as the music.
TUBA plays Thai 90s most nights of the week. จระเข้งับมือ and ตกปลา are objects from exactly that decade — the plastic toys of a Thai childhood, sitting in a room full of forgotten 20th-century things that are all, technically, for sale. Guests in their thirties pick them up and remember them with their hands before they remember them with their heads.
That is the whole reason they are on the shelf, and it is why they get played more than the games that cost us more money.
When in the evening should we play?
Between 18:00 and 20:30. Live music starts at 20:30 every night, seating from 20:00, and once the band is on, most tables stop playing and start watching — which is the correct outcome. Play early, eat, then let the room take over.
If you have booked the daytime slot (11:00–18:00), the whole session is yours and the long game becomes viable.
Is there any charge?
No. The games are free for private-room bookings — just tell the staff. The room fee, deposit and any buffet are separate and unchanged:

มากันกี่คน เลือกเกมไหนดี
4–6 คน — เริ่มด้วย Coup เกมสั้นที่เน้นอ่านสีหน้าเพื่อน ยิ่งเล่นหลายรอบยิ่งสนุก เหมาะกับโต๊ะที่ตั้งใจจะนั่งยาวกันอยู่แล้ว แต่ถ้าครึ่งโต๊ะไม่เคยเล่นเกมบลัฟมาก่อน แนะนำให้สลับไปเริ่มที่ เหมียวระเบิด แทน
6–10 คน — UNO คือเกมเดียวบนชั้นที่รองรับคน 10 คนบนโต๊ะเดียวได้จริง ระหว่างรอเพื่อนทยอยมาครบหรือรอเครื่องดื่มเสิร์ฟ ลองเปิดด้วย จระเข้งับมือ ที่ใช้เวลาอธิบายกติกาแค่สิบวินาที เพื่อละลายพฤติกรรมก่อนแก้วแรกจะมาถึง

25 คนขึ้นไป (Museum Room) — สำหรับที่นั่งทานอาหาร ห้องนี้รองรับได้ 35 ท่าน แต่ถ้าจัดเป็นงานค็อกเทลแบบยืน จะรองรับได้ถึง 60–80 ท่าน ในสเกลนี้ บอร์ดเกมจะไม่ใช่กิจกรรมหลักของงานอีกต่อไป แต่จะเปลี่ยนบทบาทเป็น Interactive Spot แนะนำให้วาง จระเข้งับมือ และ เกมตกปลา ไว้ตามโต๊ะข้าง ให้แขกเดินแวะมาเล่นขำๆ ระหว่างสังสรรค์ เพราะคงไม่มีใครยืนเล่นไพ่ไปพร้อมกับถือแก้วเครื่องดื่มในมือ
ทำไมต้องเป็น “จระเข้งับมือ” กับ “เกมตกปลา” ในแกลเลอรีของเก่า
เพราะมันคือชิ้นส่วนความทรงจำชุดเดียวกับบทเพลงที่เราเปิด
TUBA เปิดเพลงไทยยุค 90s เป็นหลักแทบทุกคืน จระเข้งับมือและเกมตกปลาหมุนวนก็คือวัตถุชิ้นสำคัญจากทศวรรษเดียวกัน — มันคือของเล่นพลาสติกในทรงจำวัยเด็กของคนไทย ที่มาวางอยู่อย่างประจวบเหมาะในห้องซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยข้าวของแห่งศตวรรษที่ 20 ที่รอวันเปลี่ยนมือ แขกในวัยสามสิบหลายคน เพียงแค่เอื้อมมือไปจับ สัมผัสก็พาความทรงจำกลับมาก่อนที่สมองจะทันนึกออกเสียอีก

ควรเริ่มเล่นช่วงเวลาไหน
ช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดคือ 18:00–20:30 น. เพราะดนตรีสดจะเริ่มเล่นเวลา 20:30 น. ของทุกคืน (เปิดให้เข้าจับจองที่นั่งตั้งแต่ 20:00 น.) เมื่อวงดนตรีขึ้นแสดง โต๊ะส่วนใหญ่จะค่อยๆ วางเกมลงแล้วหันไปดื่มด่ำกับเสียงเพลง ซึ่งนั่นคือจังหวะที่ลงตัวที่สุด — เล่นเกมกันให้เต็มที่ กินอาหารให้อิ่ม แล้วปล่อยให้บรรยากาศของห้องทำหน้าที่ของมันต่อ
แต่ถ้าคุณจองรอบกลางวันไว้ (11:00–18:00 น.) ทั้งรอบเวลาจะเป็นของคุณอย่างเต็มที่ จะเปิดเกมยาวแค่ไหนก็เล่นได้ยาวๆ

ไม่มี บอร์ดเกมบริการฟรีสำหรับลูกค้าที่จองห้อง Private Room เพียงแจ้งทีมงานตอนเข้าใช้ห้อง ส่วนค่าบริการห้อง เงินมัดจำ และบริการบุฟเฟ่ต์ ยังคงเป็นไปตามเงื่อนไขปกติ:
